The 2010 Puligny-Montrachet Village has a very tight, recalcitrant bouquet that budges little with rigorous aeration, implying that it would benefit from another two or three years in bottle. The palate is slightly viscous and honeyed on the entry, suggesting late-picked fruit, although I am seeking a little more acidic “bite” toward the finish. This is only just satisfactory, and to be honest, I was expecting more. Drink now-2017.
