Perfect for your next celebration, as an aperitif or with a wide array of cuisines. 2009 Mas Grand Plagniol ♦ France This white Rhone is produced from Grenache blanc, Roussanne and Viognier. The grapes were picked at maximum ripeness to ensure the fullest possible fruit flavors and aromas. A wonderful and delicious white wine with soft delicate floral aromas that are light and inviting. The mouthfeel is soft and round, ending with a nice dry finish. A perfect wine to drink with chicken, turkey or light bodied fish. 2009 MSH Sauvignon Blanc ♦ Yountville This is the second label for Gamble Family Vineyards. Abundant flavors come through from the moment you open this wine. Leads with a scent of pear, through to an extremely light citrus finish with some tropical flavors in there, as well. It's crisp and light. Not as dry as you might expect, but the fruitiness leaves a very nice mouthfeel. 2009 Dreyer Chardonnay ♦ Sonoma County A perfectly balanced wine with just the right balance of oak and fruit. This is a real crowd pleaser and will satisfy the most discriminating Chardonnay drinker. A steal for the price. The Reds 2008 Work Vineyard Reserve Pinot Noir ♦ Sonoma A Burgundian style wine that is deep, dark and intense with aromas and flavors of black cherries, plums a hint of smoky earth. 2010 Vinos Pinol Ludovicus Rioja ♦ Spain Dark purple with a medium-weight jammy mouth feel, tastes of plums and other dark fruits, smooth medium-length finish with tasty tannins. Delivers a lot of balanced Old World taste for the money, yummy on its own and also a good match with grilled fare, great for when you'd like a casual "house red". 2010 Maipe Malbec ♦ Argentina A perennial favorite during Genentech Goes To Town, this Mendoza Malbec has a deep purple color with violet tints, complex plum, fig and floral aromas, rounded tannins and excellent length with a distinguished character. Wonderful when paired with game, roasted red meats or pasta. 2007 Los Vencejos Tempranillo ♦ Argentina This medium-bodied wine spent 12 months in French and American oak. A milder year produced an elegant wine with red cherry and some dark fruit flavors. With round tannins and good acid, this wine is for people who love to pair food & wine. 2008 Little Red Boots Grenache Blend ♦ Paso Robles This blend of Grenache, Syrah and Petite Sirah is a well crafted blend is a testament to the unique 'Terroir' of Paso Robles. Lush & full-bodied, this wine offers aromas of raspberries and plums while delivering dark fruits, pomegranate and pepper on the palate. Goes well with meats coming fresh off the grill. 2009 MSH Merlot ♦ Rutherford This second label for Gamble Family Vineyards, this Rutherford Merlot is about as chocolately as a wine can get, with rich red plum fruit and even, soft tannins.An affordable wine that still shows the classic 'Rutherford Dust' attribute many people strive to find. A big wine that will put a smile on your face. 2005 Cayalla Red Table Wine ♦ Columbia Valley The vineyards of the Columbia and Walla Walla Valleys of Eastern Washington and Oregon are the source of this wine. Top quality Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah create a RTW of abundant fruit, elegant structure and lasting finesse. 2009 Dreyer Cabernet Sauvignon ♦ Sonoma County This wine (fruit primarily from Alexander Valley) demonstrates rich fruit character balanced with medium tannins. Dark garnet color with a nose of black cherry and plums. Full bodied in the mouth with blackberry fruit complemented with new American oak. Pairs well with roasted meat, BBQ, and pasta dishes. (* when paying by cash, check or with GenenBucks, while quantities last) 1 bottle for $25* tax included Whites Lucian Albrecht Brut Blanc de Blanc ♦ France This is the 100% Chardonnay sparkling wine made by the Albrecht family.Leaner and more elegant, this really shows its breed against many more costly Champagnes in France. Try it with a drop of Chambord. Excellent! Lucian Albrecht Brut Rosé ♦ France This rosé bubbly is made by the strictest traditional methods of Champagne. 100% Pinot Noir fruit has been made into fine sparkling wine by the Albrecht family since 1425. A great way to toast any celebration! 2010 Tables Creek Patelin de Tablas Blanc ♦ Paso Robles A blend of four white Rhône varietals: Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Roussanne, and Marsanne. The wine incorporates fruit from five top Rhone vineyards in Paso Robles, each vineyard selected for its quality. Like many white wines from the Southern Rhône, it is based on the crisp acids and rich mouthfeel of Grenache Blanc, with Viognier added for floral, tropical aromatics, and small additions of Roussanne and Marsanne for structure. 2009 Big Vine Chardonnay ♦ Napa Valley The 2009 vintage was very kind to Carneros. The natural acidity and flavor profile created a very pure and balanced wine. By avoiding ML and the use of any new oak, this wine is a crisp & clean Chardonnay with bright green apple, leechy nut, some citrus notes, and a lot of pure Chardonnay fruit. 2010 Gatti Piero Moscato de Piedmonte ♦ Italy A rich dessert style wine that is perfect in every way. Not too sweet or cloying this low alcohol wine is super clean and bright and a crowd favorite. In Italy people serve this with fresh fruit and cheese. 2008 Royal Tokaji Mád Cuvée Late Harvest ♦ Hungary Fine citrusy aroma as well as a hint of orange peel that hit the nose, later turning to linden honey. On the palate, you might notice aromas of apricot, later a note of pear and lime with a hint of vanilla. An ethereal elegance is accompanied with the delicate and rich taste. Refreshing aroma of grapefruit adds to the lingering finish. Reds 2007 Verve Pinot Noir ♦ Sonoma Coast The Sonoma Coast is a large appellation, with lots of climate variation. The "Verve" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir focuses on super-cool climate fruit from vineyards in Freestone and the Petaluma Gap. The weather keeps yields down and acidity high, while an addition of Russian River juice adds a wonderful dimension. Layers of strawberry, cherry, Asian spice and black tea are balanced by fine-grained, well-integrated tannins and a focused, fresh palate. Try it with grilled end of the summer salmon and enjoy! 2008 Sausal Zinfandel ♦ Alexander Valley This estate Zinfandel is produced from dry farmed 90-year-old vines. This wine is aged for seventeen months in French oak barrels, yielding a jammy and dense Zinfandel. The balanced, but abundant fruit in this wine make it a delicious complement to roasted and grilled meats, rich pastas, and hearty stews. 2005 Tantara 'Legerdemain' Syrah ♦ Central Coast Two of the best and most famous Syrah vineyards of Southern and Central California are: The Bien Nacido Vineyard, and Gary's Vineyard. In a special experiment sanctioned by both vineyards Tantara made a Syrah blend from BOTH of them! To even further the mystique, they gave the wine extra age in the barrel and in the bottle. An excellent effort with great balance by this well known Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producer. 2007 Petroni Rosso di Sonoma ♦ Sonoma Valley This blend of 75% Syrah, 20% Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon offers sweet ripe blackberry, black cherry, fruit cake spices, vanilla, caramel and floral notes with a hint of citrus zest and cedar in the background. The ripe flavors are balanced nicely with tangy acidity and subdued tannins which keep this wine dense, fresh and easy to drink. 2006 Ahnfeldt Cabernet Sauvignon ♦ Napa Valley With a dark ruby red color, the aromas are dominated by bright black cherry, cola berry, and toasty oak. Other nuances include tobacco, earthiness, and rose water. The entry is big, lush, round, with medium to full body. The evolution is concentrated with impeccable balance and showing an excellent mid-palate. A long finish with mouth coating tannins.
